Our History

Pele Primary School was founded in January 2015 with an initial enrolment of 325 learners. Operating temporarily at Khutso Primary School, it was led by caretaker principal Mrs. Mpepele MJ until Ms. Phala CB was appointed as the first official principal in October 2015. The school moved into its permanent prefabricated structure in 2016, comprising 30 classrooms and essential facilities. With steadily increasing enrolment, the school now serves over 1,300 learners from a disadvantaged community, many of whom rely on social grants and face significant socio-economic challenges. Despite limited resources and infrastructure challenges, Pele Primary remains dedicated to providing quality education.
