Receiption year

Grade 1

Age Group: 5–6 years
Purpose: We prepare our learners for formal schooling
Focus: Our focus is on basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills

Foundation Phase

From Grade 1 - Grade 3

Age Range: 5–9 years
Key Subjects: Home Language, First Additional Language, Mathematics, Life Skills
Focus: Core literacy and numeracy, learning through play

Intermediate Phase

From Grade 4 - Grade 6

Age Range: 9–12 years
Key Subjects: Home Language, First Additional Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences & Technology, Social Sciences, Life Skills
Focus: Subject-based learning, critical thinking

Senior Phase

Grade 7

Age Range: 12–13 years
Subjects: Continuation of Intermediate Phase + Economic and Management Sciences (EMS)
Focus: Preparation for high school, independent learning
